on bended knees
is where life may find me
thrown about for what it is
and what it could be
but most of all after everything
i hate most that people back up and say
that it’s all just me
and i am unable to accept that
any longer
there has to be a better way
some things you work hard for
you know at times you may have to give more
but there are pivotal moments that should
be met halfway
and if they aren’t even trying
then they do not care hardly enough
perhaps this is a lesson
