I will look for the small joys
that sneak up on you at times
That tend to hide when you are sad
and can make you a bit blind
I will bask in the 80/20
the blessings that fill my life
like my surrounding forest
and sunset walks
like the stars that shine at night
I will do my best
to see green here at my feet
to move like all is well
and that I've already conquered this feat
The vibration around me so positive
like a plant that flourishes with sweet words
I will tell myself I'm loved,
My God sees me, I'm heard...
And that is my proof of worth.
