The trumpet blasts!
Listen one and all!
Bend your ear
to its cry and call.
What is that but an invitation!
For two trumpets do sound!
Waste no time, the direction is vital!
So let us quickly gather around.
All around the earth united
In big groups as well as small.
We benefit from such assemblies
Whether traveling near or far,
or on a streaming zoom call.
One trumpet is heard
Loud throughout the land!
A special training for chieftains
To care for the sheep at hand.
Our dear Shepherds
are lovingly taught and directed,
how to care for the flock
under their watch and protection.
There is the trumpet again!
This time in a changing rise and fall!
It is time for moving, uprooting,
And for trusting in the call!
Ah, but changes can be difficult
With mixed feelings we may hesitate,
But adjustments come with blessings
And we thrive when we respond in faith.
