When he said he wanted to hold me 
did i tell him?
did i tell him i wanted him to hold me too?

It felt like falling 
and oh my how i wanted you to catch me
how i hoped so much for it to be you 

but instead 
it was the cold hard ground of reality
the unrest and the moving along of my body

was i the burden then?
or was i just too precious to keep?
