vibrant and ideal
like far into a fragrant meadow
from the trees shake laughter and youth
trunks in sure strengths of dependability
the wind carrying promises and caresses
flowers that come out to greet you in friendliness
days filled with the warm elegance of sunshine
evenings where sweet fireflies kiss your cheeks
and each sunset setting especially lavender delicious for you
there exists also pockets of darkness
with corners of extreme isolation and fear
where every once in a while to escape
is like rowing a boat out deep on a somber sea
and hardly anyone knows
how or when or if you can be reached
do you have an inner world,
