I just want to rest

I only need a place

to rest a while

without panic or defense

without fight

Conundrum

He waited most patiently 
endearing to all he cared for 
with sincerity and kindness 
And here she came;

perfectly packaged 

as if made for him 
almost as if wrapped in a bow 
with his name

Little White Butterfly

outside to take in

the view of the sky

and in doing so greeting 

a little white butterfly

flickering its wings like twinkling lights

between the blade of this and that 

ahead of me on my walk

seemingly quick and rash

it is a jumpy thing

my anxiety quite the same

and if beauty can be found in this

perhaps i need not feel ashamed
