she watched him fill his life 

with the details of her

until she decorated his world 

like she was his security 

then saw him pluck it all out 

one by one she was disappearing

until all the little pieces 

and traces of her were gone,

just as easily

When men have proved 
faulty, untrustworthy, and cruel 
you, my Father, rise to the top
consistently Good and above them all 

I remind myself that every one does not 
delight in seeing me cry
There exists a superior Almighty
that pays a close and caring watchful eye…

the reason

i arrived hopeful 
and full of life 
joy ripped though me 
i laughed and sighed 

i gathered courage 
to burst upon the scene 
and realized soon 
no one is here with me
